Our Kickboxing Boot Camp class is an exciting, fat burning high energy mix of kickboxing techniques, total body conditioning, and stretching. Whether you want to learn the basics of Muay Thai kickboxing or you're just looking for a fun and exciting way to burn some calories and get in better shape, the benefits of this class are endless! Unlike other kickboxercise classes, not only will you get a great workout, but you will also learn real kickboxing techniques such as punches, kicks, knees, and elbows that would be very beneficial in a self-defense situation!
Each class is set to music and is run at a good consistent pace to keep your heart rate up and the calories burning. We start out the class with some jump rope which not only works the entire body but also helps build endurance. Then it's on to a full body stretch to make sure your muscles are loose. Now comes the high energy work out which is the bulk of the class. Each student will learn and throw combinations consisting of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows at punch mitts, kicking shield, thai pads, or punching bags. A true full body workout!
As we know each student will have a different level of endurance and experience. The class is run and monitored by instructors but each student is encouraged to push themselves and work at a pace that is good for them. As long as we see regular improvements we are happy. It is truly the best workout around!
This Class is a perfectly safe way for men, women, and teens to learn the basics of kickboxing as well as get in the best shape of their life with out getting hurt as this is a no contact class. The intro class is also a stepping stone for beginners that one day wish to try out our Muay Thai Program. Our intro kickboxing class has been embraced by all walks of life housewives, doctors, lawyers, celebrities and even professional athletes as it is a great cross trainer in the off-season.
